Raz Nadav was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel. Inspired by the legendary peace activist Abie Nathan and his Voice of Peace radio station, he started writing short stories in his boyhood and also joined and supported Abie Nathan's activities as a member of the humanitarian organization Abie's Angels.
In his early 20's Nadav moved to the USA. He first lived in New York and then in Seattle. Few years later Nadav returned to Israel and started writing his books.
Between 2003 and 2006 Nadav has published two Hebrew books: The first titled "ha-Lev ha-ro`eh" ("The seeing heart"). It is a collection of short stories, some of which written in the magic realism genre touching on science fiction in its content.
The second book is "ha-Blondiniyot ha-`atsuvot shel hayai" ("The sad blondes of my life"). The novel follows a wild and reckless radio DJ involved in delusional and destructive relationships with three depressed blondes.

רז נדב נולד וגדל בתל אביב. בהיותו נער החל לכתוב סיפורים קצרים בהשראת פעיל השלום אייבי נתן ותחנת הרדיו "קול השלום", והצטרף בצעירותו לפעילויות הומניטריות במסגרת ארגון "המלאכים של אייבי".
בתחילת שנות העשרים לחייו עבר להתגורר בארצות הברית, תחילה בניו יורק ולאחר מכן בסיאטל, שם החל לגבש את זהותו כאמן יוצר. לאחר מספר שנים בארצות הברית שב לישראל והחל בכתיבת ספריו.
בשנת 2003 פורסם ספרו הראשון, "הלב הרואה", שהינו קובץ של סיפורים קצרים. אחדים מן הסיפורים נכתבו בסגנון הריאליזם הפנטסטי ומשיקים למדע הבדיוני, באחרים ניתן למצוא יסודות פנטסטיים מרומזים, אולם לכולם מכנה משותף אחד: חמלה בסיסית וכמיהה לפשטות.
בשנת 2006 פורסם ספרו השני, "הבלונדיניות העצובות של חיי". זהו רומן שבמרכזו שדרן רדיו פרוע המנהל מערכת יחסים הזויה והרסנית עם שלוש נשים בלונדיניות דיכאוניות. הספר רווי יצריות וחמלה שתורמים לאווירת ההזיה שמרחפת מעל לסיפור.
